AI form builder: describe your form, get a draft
Say what the form is for in a sentence or two. Nextforms drafts the questions, the choices and the follow-up logic, and opens it in the builder for you to finish. Free on every plan.
Free forever, no credit card.
Most forms start the same way: a blank page and a list in your head. Describe the form instead, the way you would to a colleague, and Nextforms drafts it. Name, email, “which shift do you prefer: morning, afternoon or evening”, “if they’ve volunteered before, ask them about it”. A few seconds later the form is in the builder with the questions in order, the right field for each, and the follow-up question already set to appear only after a Yes.
A real form, not a mock-up
The draft is an ordinary Nextforms form. Everything the builder can do still applies, and nothing about it is locked:
- The right question types: email, phone, date, rating, dropdown, address, file upload and more, not a page of plain text boxes.
- Choices filled in: the options you listed, or sensible ones when you didn’t.
- Logic included: a question that should only appear after a certain answer is set up that way.
- Pages for long forms: a rental application comes out as sections, a contact form as one page.
- Your language: describe it in German and you get a German form, with the form’s language set to match.
It opens unpublished. Change a question, add a workflow, a payment or your brand’s look, then publish.
Sensible by default
It won’t draft a form that asks for passwords, bank logins or card numbers, because a form should never collect those. Card payments go through a payment question that sends card details straight to Stripe.
Your description is used to draft the form and nothing else. It is sent to Anthropic, whose model writes the draft, and your forms’ responses are never part of it. The details are in the docs.
Free, on every plan
Drafting forms with AI is included on the free plan, with a generous daily allowance per team. Only drafts that become a form count.
Good for
Getting past the blank page: event sign-ups, feedback surveys, job applications, intake and onboarding forms, quote requests, RSVPs, and any form you know the shape of but haven’t built yet.
